Moving To Australia And Taking The Citizenship Test

Thinking of moving to Australia?

It is not hard to see why Australia is a country that appeals to a lot of people. There are exciting career prospects here, as well as great education and cosmopolitan culture. You can also expect delicious food, lots of opportunities to watch and play sport, a great climate, and stunning views in every direction. According to government statistics, 534,100 people immigrated to Australia in the year ending the 30th of September 2019.

However, if you do want to make the move to Australia, it is not as simple as jumping on a plane. You are going to need to adhere to certain rules and regulations, and one thing that you may need to know more about is passing the citizenship test. If you intend to live in Australia for the rest of your life, this is definitely an option worth considering.

As you will see from the infographic, test questions do change all of the time and so you need to make sure that you are prepared. Questions will be based on the government and law in Australia, Australia’s democratic liberties, rights, and beliefs, as well as the country and its people. It is highly advisable to make sure you spend some time familiarising yourself with the test and the sort of questions that may be asked. You can also do practice tests online and free simulation tests, which will help to make sure that you are as prepared as you could possibly be.
